Bonds

US-dollar corporate bonds, about 8,000, listed under the BOND venue by ISIN (BOND:US00037BAF94): each bond's terms (coupon, frequency, maturity, call features, seniority, issuer and its sector) and its latest price and yield to maturity. Bonds are included with Commercial and Scale; keys on other plans get 403 market-not-entitled. Prices are clean prices per 100 of face value, evaluated or last-trade, on the days a bond traded; the bond's daily history is in /v1/eod and /v1/bars (one price a day, open, high, low and close alike, no volume), and its yields in /v1/bonds/yields. The source states the maturity of few bonds, so most maturity_date values are read from the bond name (maturity_date_from_name); issuers are named as the source abbreviates them, and company_id links a bond to its company only on an exact name match. A record changes with each new price; as_of reads earlier records back seven days. Terms are read when a bond is first listed and monthly after. A bond that leaves the source's list keeps its last record; price_date shows when it last traded. Default order: id ascending. Omitting entity selectors returns the entitled universe; explicit unauthorized selectors return 403. Data is delivered from validated canonical batches; a connected dataset with nothing published for the key's markets yet returns 503. Access requires the operation capability on the API key.

Parameters

company_idsstringoptional · query
Filter by issuer IDs. May be combined with instrument selectors; filters intersect, except on issuer-level datasets (statements, segments, estimates, earnings, insider transactions), where an instrument selector is read as its company and takes the place of company_ids, so results cover every share class.
instrument_idsstringoptional · query
Filter by stable instrument IDs. IDs and symbols may not be combined.
symbolsstringoptional · query
Convenience lookup for exchange-listed instruments as MIC:TICKER or a bare ticker, which resolves to the exchange listing that ticker; resolves at symbol_at. The MIC and the ticker are case-insensitive, and two spellings of one listing (AAPL and XNAS:AAPL) count as a repeated value. A bare ticker that names no listing as written is also read in the common vendor spellings: with an exchange suffix (RY.TO, SHEL.L, VOD.LSE, BHP.AX), ^GSPC for INDEX:GSPC, and EURUSD=X or EURUSD for FOREX:EUR-USD. A ticker may contain a space (BAC PRL) but not start or end with one. A request in which no symbol resolves returns 404 symbol-not-resolved; otherwise each symbol that does not resolve, or resolves to a listing with no rows for the request (no-data), is an entry of meta.errors. IDs and symbols may not be combined.
symbol_atstringoptional · query
Resolve symbols as they were assigned at the end of this UTC date (YYYY-MM-DD); defaults to as_of. Only listings the security master holds resolve: it was built in September 2026 and records delistings from then on, so most issuers delisted earlier, such as TWTR or SIVB, resolve at no date. Only valid with symbols.
qstringoptional · query
Case-insensitive search of the bond name and symbol. A value that is empty or only whitespace returns 422.
as_ofstringoptional · query
Knowledge cutoff as a UTC date (YYYY-MM-DD): the response reflects what was known by the end of that day. Defaults to now; cannot be in the future. A date from before the dataset's knowledge history returns 422 point-in-time-unavailable naming the earliest one, which GET /v1/datasets lists as earliest_as_of.
known_fromstringoptional · query
First UTC date (YYYY-MM-DD, inclusive) on which a revision became known.
known_tostringoptional · query
Last UTC date (YYYY-MM-DD, inclusive) on which a revision became known; on or after known_from.
orderstringoptional · query
Direction on id; ties use ID ascending.

ascdesc

Default: asc
limitintegeroptional · query
Maximum records per page.Default: 100
cursorstringoptional · query
Opaque cursor, expires after one hour; binds filters, order, resolved as_of, account/key and entitlement. Repeat the original query unchanged.
formatstringoptional · query
Response format. csv returns the data rows with a header row, for spreadsheet functions such as IMPORTDATA; nested fields become dotted columns and lists one JSON array cell, the next page cursor is returned in X-Next-Cursor and meta.errors in X-Meta-Errors. A result without rows is the header row alone, listing the documented fields of a row. Default json, or csv when format is omitted and the Accept header ranks text/csv above JSON; a format the Accept header does not admit returns 406 not-acceptable.

Response fields

Returns data as an array of records. All example values are illustrative.

idstring
Record identifier, stable across revisions.
instrument_idstring
Opaque stable public identifier; never an internal database key.
symbolstring
Listing symbol, BOND: and the ISIN.
namestring
Bond name as the source describes it, often the issuer, coupon and maturity in its own spelling; the ISIN where it gives none.
isinstring
isin
cusipstring · null
CUSIP; for a US or Canadian ISIN, its nine middle characters.
figistring · null
FIGI, where the source states one (rarely).
issuer_namestring · null
Issuer as the source names it, often abbreviated (ABB FIN USA INC); taken from the bond name where the source states no issuer.
issuer_country_codestring · null
Issuer's country of domicile, where the source states it.
company_idstring · null
The company that issued the bond, in /v1/companies: set only where the stated issuer name equals one listed company's name once legal forms (Inc, Corp, Co, Ltd, PLC, SA) and punctuation are set aside. Abbreviated issuers and finance subsidiaries (BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY FIN CORP) are null, never a guess.
currency_codestring
ISO 4217 currency. Crypto quote assets use instrument IDs, not invented ISO codes.
coupon_ratestring · null
Annual coupon rate, as stated, or read from the bond name where the terms leave it out. In percent: 4.375 means 4.375%.
coupon_frequencystring · null
Coupon payments a year: zero for a zero-coupon bond.

annualsemiannualquarterlymonthlyzero

maturity_datestring · null
Maturity date: from the terms, or read from the bond name where the terms leave it out (maturity_date_from_name). Null where neither states it.
maturity_date_from_nameboolean
Whether maturity_date was read from the bond name rather than stated in its terms.
callableboolean · null
Whether the issuer may redeem the bond before maturity; null when the source does not say.
next_call_datestring · null
Next date the bond may be called, where the source states one; it can lie in the past.
debt_typestring · null
Seniority and form, as the source classifies the bond.
sectorstring · null
Issuer's industry group, as the source classifies it.
industrystring · null
Issuer's industry subgroup, as the source classifies it.
offering_datestring · null
offering date
pricestring · null
Latest price, clean, per 100 of face value: the evaluated or last-trade price of price_date. The same figure is the close of that date in /v1/eod.
yield_to_maturitystring · null
Yield to maturity at price, as the source calculates it; null where it gives none. In percent: 4.375 means 4.375%.
price_datestring · null
Date of price and yield_to_maturity: the bond's latest traded day. Null before any price is held.
terms_observed_onstring · null
Date OHLC last read the bond's terms; null before they are first read.
observed_onstring
The day OHLC published what this record says: on or after price_date and terms_observed_on.

An empty data: [] is a successful query with no matching records. Invalid symbols, permissions and malformed parameters produce an RFC 9457 problem with an actionable detail.
