Your daily allowance, per-minute rate, and concurrency cap all apply. Displaying data in your own product? Start with Commercial.
Free is exclusively for testing on AAPL, NVDA, JNJ, PEP, MSFT, SPY, and QQQ. Every tier supports batching up to 100 symbols per HTTP request. Limits apply per account, across all of its API keys. History windows roll forward daily and apply to every dataset, including prices, fundamentals, filings, and corporate actions. Full history means all history available in OHLC; availability varies by instrument. Mutual funds cover about 25,000 U.S. share classes and Canadian funds.

Read the rate-limit headers to pace your requests. If you receive a 429, use Retry-After before trying again.
Illustrative headers for Developer’s 300 requests/minute limit. Reset is a Unix timestamp; Retry-After is in seconds.

How do credits work?
Each request spends credits from your daily allowance, depending on the endpoint: 5 for reference data, and 5 per symbol for prices, dividends and splits; 25 per symbol for intraday bars and indicators; 50 per symbol for fundamentals and financial statements; 50 per request for filings and options; and 500 for exports, flat-file downloads and whole-market queries. Failed requests are refunded. Every endpoint’s cost is listed in the docs, and each response reports the credits it spent and how many remain.
What happens if I hit my limit?
Your plan’s limits are hard caps, and they apply to your whole account across all of its API keys. Once you reach your daily credit allowance, requests return 429 until 00:00 UTC; the per-minute rate limit resets each minute. Upgrade your plan for higher limits. There are no overage charges.
Can I use this in a product I sell?
Only Commercial and Scale include commercial display and redistribution rights. Free and Developer are for personal use; Pro is for internal use. A paid Pro subscription does not permit displaying or redistributing data in a product you sell.
Is the data real-time?
No. Exchange quotes are delayed at least 15 minutes, crypto and currency pairs are snapshotted every few minutes, and we also provide end-of-day data. We do not offer real-time or consolidated SIP data.
Which datasets does each plan include?
Free and Developer include reference data, EOD prices, 15-minute delayed quotes, and fundamentals, financial statements, earnings, share statistics, dividends and splits, and SEC filings. Free covers only AAPL, NVDA, JNJ, PEP, MSFT, SPY, and QQQ; Developer adds every U.S. stock and ETF. Pro adds the Toronto, TSX Venture, Cboe Canada, London, Euronext Paris and Amsterdam and ASX listings, and every other dataset, including intraday bars, news, analyst ratings, ownership, insider and congressional trades, short interest, fund holdings, index levels and constituents, options, crypto, forex, trades, technical indicators, economic data, and the screener. Pro also includes daily flat files. Mutual funds, U.S. corporate bonds, full history, and bulk exports are included only with Commercial and Scale.
Is there a free trial?
No. The Free plan is how you try OHLC: 12,500 credits a day on AAPL, NVDA, JNJ, PEP, MSFT, SPY, and QQQ, with no credit card. Upgrade when you need more.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. There is no minimum term on monthly plans. Annual plans are billed yearly at the total shown.
