Invalid request

A parameter or body member failed validation. invalid_params names each one and why.

Why it happens

  • An unknown or repeated query parameter.
  • Both symbols and instrument_ids, or date together with from or to.
  • A value outside its documented enum or bounds, or a format other than json or csv.
  • Control characters in a parameter, or a POST body that is not a JSON object or states one JSON member twice.
  • Search text q that is empty or only whitespace; omit q to list everything.

How to fix it

  • Read invalid_params in the response and correct each named parameter.
  • Check the endpoint's parameters in the API reference.
