Not a whole-response error: in a batch response, a requested listing that resolved but has no rows for the request is listed in meta.errors with this code, so every requested symbol appears exactly once in data or meta.errors.

Why it happens
- The listing did not trade on the requested
date. - The listing has no quotes, such as some preferred shares and mutual funds.
- No rows match the requested range.
- The dataset has no records for the listing, such as
/v1/fundsfor a stock or/v1/earningsfor an ETF.
How to fix it
- Treat it as an empty result for that symbol.
- For CSV, read the same list from the
X-Meta-Errorsheader. - On the research endpoints (companies, news, earnings, funds and the like) the entries are on the first page only; later pages do not repeat them.
- Check history with dataset coverage.
