HTTP 404

Symbol not resolved

No single listing traded under this ticker at symbol_at. The detail says what the listing trades as when it can. A request is a 404 only when none of its symbols resolves, and the detail then names them; when at least one resolves, the response is 200 and the others are entries of meta.errors with this code.

Why it happens

The ticker changed, for example SQ now resolving to XNYS:XYZ.
The ticker was unused or shared at that date.
A typo.

How to fix it

Qualify the symbol as MIC:TICKER, or use the current ticker named in the detail.
Set symbol_at to a date when the ticker was in use. See symbols.
